How to measure your dog's neck
- Wrap a soft tape measure (or a piece of string you'll lay against a ruler) around the base of your dog's neck, where their collar will sit.
- Keep it snug but not tight — two fingers should slide easily between the tape and your dog's neck.
- Note the measurement in inches.
- Match that number to the size range on the chart above.
If you're between sizes
Always size up. Our collars adjust down within each size range, so the larger size gives you more room to dial in the fit.
A few tips
- Puppies grow fast. If your dog is still growing, pick the size that fits today — not one they'll "grow into." A loose collar can slip off.
- Thick coats: For dogs with fluffy or double coats (huskies, retrievers, shepherds), measure where the collar actually sits on the skin, not over the top of the fur.
